The Power mode is for those who like a bit more excitement while driving. The Power mode uses the electric motors to instantly add a lot of torque power, while the Drive-E unit is used for the higher revs.

The AWD mode, naturally, sends power to all four wheels, and can be activated manually. This way, you can only use it when you need it, and spend the rest of the time saving the fuel and energy.

The last mode is the Safe mode. This one preserves the battery juice and uses other parts to run the SUV. Also, when battery level is low, the gasoline mill can be used to charge it. This drive mode is very useful on the long-distance journeys.
