By | 05/05/2015

The details about the upcoming 2016 Mercedes-Benz G-Class have finally been revealed. The legendary off-roader didn’t need any, though, like it never does, but still the manufacturer decided to improve it a bit and make it even more modern and popular. The 2016 G-Class will only be updated, with no new design surprises and bold changes for the year 2016, but we must say the changes are thorough and impressive.

To start with, the new off-road models will come with a bit improved exterior and interior design. The new G-Class will offer more colors, some new design solutions and a bit more posh and aggressive feel, but they will still remain recognizable and cool. In addition, some of the systems and gadgets will be improved and there will also be a new limited edition equipment package for those in need of a more unique and luxurious feel. However, these cosmetic changes, though attractive, are far from being the most important thing on the new 2016 Mercedes-Benz G-Class.

It is the new and improved engines that will make the buyers go nuts. Reportedly, the 2016 G-Class will offer one new unit for the G550 model which will have a higher power output than the current one, but it will be smaller, while other G-Class vehicles will come with tuned up current setups. There are also some other powertrain tweaks and improvements which will make the new models stay way atop of its competition when it comes to both on-road and especially off-road performance. With that being said, it is hard to imagine anyone not being interested in the new and improved 2016 Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
