The 2016 Hyundai Tucson will come with a unique name for all the markets. The current model was sold as a Tucson in the USA, while it was called the ix35 on some other markets, including the European. From now own, the SUV will be called the 2016 Hyundai Tucson all around the globe. In addition, the model will be manufactured both in South Korea and Czech Republic, and the American market will get its models from Asia.

The European 2016 Hyundai Tucson will be powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that can generate 174 horsepower. According to some rumors, the new crossover will also offer a 2.0-liter gasoline and 1.7-liter diesel units. The new model will use a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The aforementioned 1.6-liter mill will replace some other engine options in certain markets, such as Australia, so some sources believe it might even be offered in the USA. In addition, the manufacturer said that the new 2016 Hyundai Tucson will get a performance version, which should be good for around 200 horsepower, though this has yet to be announced.
