So, what are the differences between the current and the 2016 model? Well, although the new CUV will not be the new generation, it will be quite improved. The most obvious change will be its appearance, of course – the 2016 HR-V will look more aggressive and bold than the current model. Its design is still recognizable, but also fresh and modern. Speaking of the design, let’s not forget the interior one. The new cabin will come with fantastic equipment and a lot of space, thanks to the famous Magic Seats. As for the powertrain, the 2016 Honda HR-V will come with only one engine option, but don’t be disappointed – this mill will be more than satisfying. All in all, we are impatiently waiting for the next year, when this awesome subcompact crossover will be released.

2016 Honda HR-V Appearance

Like we said, the new 2016 Honda HR-V looks quite impressive. The new design was based on the Honda Urban concept, but don’t worry, the CUV did not lose its recognizable feel. It only got improved. The design is interesting, fresh and bold. The overall shape and dimensions remained the same, but now, the new model got more edgy and assertive style. In addition, the new model is underpinned by the same platform as the Honda Fit. However, these two models won’t have much in common. However, the new model will come with some similarities with the Honda CR-V. Though the latter is bigger in dimensions, the difference is not that drastic. The new HR-V, in addition, comes with only 0.3 inch shorter wheelbase and 10-inch length difference when compared to its bigger sibling, so you can imagine how comfortable and pleasant it is for driving. This fact is one of the most important features on the new CUV for all those who look for an enjoyable travel in their cozy and smart new vehicle.

2016 Honda HR-V Trims and Features

Let’s move on to the interior. The new 2016 Honda HR-V will come with fantastic interior features. To start with, the design will remain more or less unchanged, but that is not as important. The cabin of the subcompact crossover was always decent and a bit elegant, so there is really no reason for any drastic change here. Also, the cabin will come with numerous gadgets and systems for both entertainment and safety. The level of equipment will differ depending on the trim level, and there will be three of them – the LX, EX and EX-L. All of them come with essentials, such as rearview camera, Hill Start Assist and electronic parking brake, while the more expensive trims also offer a 7-inch touchscreen, navigation and heated front seats. Moreover, the 2016 Honda HR-V comes with the famous Magic Seats, which will enable it to offer a lot of space inside the cabin. These seats have a clever way of folding, thus providing the driver with 58.8 cubic feet of space with the seats all flattened. This feature will surely represent an advantage over other models in the market segment.
