Therefore, the new model will not be fully redesigned, but its changes will be essential and big. The new truck will have a refreshed exterior, which will now be more modern and dominant. This particular trim will add a dash of luxury and elegance to the new model and it will certainly attract more customers, maybe even some which weren’t interested in it at the beginning. The 2016 GMC Canyon will offer two new engines. There will be a 2.8-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine that will generate 200 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque. Its compression ratio will be around 16.5:1. In addition, the new Canyon will also offer another engine option. It will be a 4.3-liter V6 EcoTec3 LV3 unit that can produce 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque. These units will surely be more than enough to provide an excellent performance for the truck.
