The 2016 Cadillac CTS-V will have its debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. We wrote about this model sometime ago, but back then, the information about it was scarce. Now, we have much more data on the new model and we can tell you with certainty that it will be stunning. The 2016 CTS-V will be the most powerful production Cadillac ever made. With such title comes great responsibility, so you can only imagine the time and effort the manufacturer has invested into its development. The new luxury sedan will come with unique and attractive appearance, sporty cabin and, more importantly, flawless powertrain setup. The model will be simply impressive; it will come with great performance, but also its design and other features will reflect its fast and dominant character. Everything on this model is subordinated to its attitude and everything was carefully planned. That doesn’t mean that the new CTS-V isn’t elegant or luxurious – it is a perfect blend of both worlds. Performance-Oriented Exterior Design

The 2016 Cadillac CTS-V will come with unique appearance. Its exterior design is bold and aggressive; the manufacturer wanted its fierce spirit to be noticeable right away. That’s why the new model has such an impressive look. Its body shape has been improved in order to be more aerodynamic and its parts, such as grille, rear and front fascia and splitter and rear spoiler, were all designed in a manner that will pronounce sedan’s capabilities. The exterior design is finished with 19-inch forged aluminum wheels with famous Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. In addition, the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V features an optional Carbon Fiber package that brings a more aggressive front splitter, rear diffuser, spoiler and different hood vent.

Interior Design & Features

As for the interior, the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V will come with a cabin worthy of any racing model. The interior design is flawless and reflects the nature of the luxury sedan. Just by looking at it, you can tell that a drive in this model will be something to remember. The cabin appearance is really performance-oriented – that doesn’t mean it is not elegant or subtle. Just like exterior, the interior is also a perfect blend of the luxurious and refined world and fierce and aggressive nature. The model features three color schemes: Jet Black, Jet Black with Light Platinum accents and Saffron with Jet Black accents. In addition, the new sedan features heated and ventilated front seats with semi-aniline leather and suede microfiber details. If you do not like them, you can choose the famous Recaro performance seats which come with Mulan leather and microfiber inserts and seatbacks. As for the equipment, you can only imagine the level of technology installed into this model. The 2016 CTS-V offers, among other systems, 12.-inch instrument panel display, Bose audio, OnStar 4G LTE, Siri Eyes Free, CUE infotainment system and the popular Performance Data Recorder.

The 2016 Cadillac CTS-V Powertrain Setup & Performance

The fantastic new performance sedan, the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V, will be powered by a supercharged 6.4-liter LT4 V8 engine capable of producing 640 horsepower and 630 lb-ft of torque. The model also comes with Magnetic Ride Control whose response time has been improved by 40 percent, according to the manufacturer. This system is really useful, as it analyses the road conditions up to 1,000 times per second and adjusts the magnetorheological suspension according to the data received. Also, the new model will use the Brembo brakes as standard, as well as 15.3-inch front rotors with staggered six-piston calipers and 14.3-inch rear rotors with four-piston calipers.

The 2016 Cadillac CTS-V will speed up to 60 mph from a standstill in 3.7 seconds, while its top speed is set at 201 mph. the sedan will come with four preset modes – Tour, Sport, Track and Snow. The Track mode comes with the famous Performance Traction Management.

Premiere & Release Date

The 2016 Cadillac CTS-V will have its debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. The model should be released by the end of the summer 2015. As for the price, there is no information yet, but we should know more about it soon.
