By | 07/14/2014

The 2016 Audi A6 will be released during next year, possibly at the end of it. The new model will bring noticeable changes, but we cannot say that they will be of crucial value. The new A6 will get a new look, drastically changed in comparison to the look the current model has. The 2016 car will have a more aggressive appearance, with bold and futuristic details which will give it a whole new perspective. It will borrow many details from other Audi models, such as A7 and A8, which are more exclusive and luxurious than the A6. This means that the new model will raise the bar of elegance and sophistication it brings, which will surely make many fans ecstatic. In addition, the 2016 Audi A6 will have its interior redesigned, too. The new model should feature a cabin equipped with high-quality materials, while the rear bench will be changed in order to provide more space. Also, the instrument cluster will be slightly improved, but it will keep its simple and pleasant appeal. It is possible that the new model will offer more equipment as well. As for the powertrain, the 2016 Audi A6 will use the same engines as it predecessor does, with absolutely nothing changed on it. The fact that the redesign of the 2016 model is purely cosmetic, makes one wonder whether it is worth the wait. Well, since the new model looks stunning, and its old powertrain is quite satisfying, maybe we should stick around a bit more.

The 2016 Audi A6 will have a fantastic new exterior. The front end will feature a new grille based on the aforementioned concept, followed by a slightly changed bumper and very dominant headlights. They will be designed in accordance to the trending Audi look, which will most likely be incorporated in each of its models. The rear end will have a more modest look, a bit similar to the one seen on the A7. The rear bumper and taillights will be improved, but the overall feel will be mild and serene. As for the side look, don’t expect any changes there. The model will keep the same size and shape, since it will use the same chassis as before. The 2016 Audi A6 will be underpinned by a famous Audi MBL platform, which gives great support while being lightweight, so the car would have better performance and fuel economy.
