The 2015 Porsche Cayenne GTS will have its premiere at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show. The new version of the famous model represents a bridge between the 2015 Cayenne S and the 2015 Cayenne Turbo, which both already had their debuts at the 2014 Paris Auto Show. The GTS and the base version, however, have yet to be unveiled. The new Cayenne GTS will come with numerous changes, each one better than the one before. Needless to say that its appearance will be refreshed, both the one of exterior and interior, and that it will be stunning. Also, the comfort and gadgetry will be improved, so the new model will be much more enjoyable and fun to drive. However, that’s not all. The 2015 Porsche Cayenne GTS will come with a new powertrain. The new SUV will use a V6 engine instead of the current V8 one. The new mill will have smaller displacement, but it will be more powerful and efficient. The 2015 Porsche Cayenne GTS will have a stunning appearance. It will share the front end with its sibling, the Cayenne Turbo. The front fascia, large air intakes and the grille are all borrowed from the Turbo design, so the new model looks wicked, powerful and aggressive. In addition, the new model will have a very powerful silhouette, with high wheel arches and menacing 20-inch wheels. As for the interior, the 2015 Porsche Cayenne GTS will come with Alcantara leather and GTS badging. All in all, the new model will look dominant, modern and very much aggressive.
Engine And Specs
The new 2015 Porsche Cayenne GTS will come with a new engine. It will now be powered by a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 engine that will be more powerful than its past unit. Just to remind you, so far this SUV used a 4.8-liter V8, so you can see how big the displacement change is. However, the new engine will surely provide much better performance as it comes with a higher power output. The new V6 mill will be capable of generating 440 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque, which is 20 horsepower and 65 lb-ft of torque more than what the aforementioned V8 unit could offer. Though this change doesn’t seem to be radical, it will surely make the drive more fun. The new 2015 Cayenne GTS will have a top speed of 162 mph and it will accelerate to 62 mph from a standstill in 5.2 seconds. Also, the new engine will be more fuel efficient, though there are no reports on its fuel economy figures yet.

The 2015 Porsche Cayenne GTS will offer a Sport Chrono package. The new model will therefore have a sprint time improved for tenth of a second. This is an interesting improvement and it will surely help the new model win over a bigger piece of its market segment. In addition, the new SUV will use an eight-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission as standard. Also, the new model will come with some other features which will additionally improve its performance. There will be an updated performance suspension (PASM) which will lower the new SUV for 20 millimeters compared to its base counterpart, and also, the new model will use the same set of brakes as does the Cayenne Turbo.

The 2015 Porsche Cayenne GTS will have its premiere at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. Its release should happen shortly after, but you can already order your SUV. The new Cayenne GTS will cost $96,495 with the $995 destination fee included.
