The 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class will be released this fall as a 2015 model. The new generation of this famous, beautiful car will have many novelties to brag about. To start with, the new model will have a new exterior look which will be even more dashing and elegant. The new model’s appearance will feature new LED headlights as well as some other high-end details, though some of them won’t be available in the USA due to the law regulations. In addition, the 2015 CLS-Class will have a new display and an improved infotainment system, which is excellent news because the buyers’ complaints were mostly focusing on the trouble with the latter. Also, the new coupe will offer some new engines with excellent power output and performance, though once again, not all of them will reach the North American shores. The new 2015 CLS-Class will have a new transmission as well, and even thought the scale of this redesign is still unknown, we are sure that the new model will sweep all of us off our feet.

2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class Appearance — Redesigned Exterior

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class will have a new redesigned exterior. Despite the fact that the current model looks more than dashing as it is, the redesign will raise the bar and standards of how a luxurious and modern car should look like. The new model will therefore have a more up-to-date and dominant appearance. The 2015 CLS-Class will have a redesigned front fascia with a restyled front bumper and a diamond-shaped grille. Like we mentioned before, the new model will use an LED headlight as a standard, but some markets will also offer special MULTIBEAM LED headlights with 24 LEDs in each part. Each of these can be controls individually and dimmed or brightened in 255 stages. As for the rear end, the bumper and taillights have been slightly changed in order to follow the front design, but they still resemble the current model. The overall impression of the new model is that is dominant, bold and breath taking.

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class new MULTIBEAM LED headlights we mentioned before come with a camera located behind the windscreen and an Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus system. With all this, the new model helps the driver by keeping the beams high all the time and the system will lower it itself once it notices a car moving in opposite direction. In addition, the new technology will increase the illumination by 20 percent, which will add up to 530 yards of enlighten area. This helps the driver in many ways, but it also helps the company set its model aside from its competition. Such technology is very advanced and there aren’t many other models with such features. This will surely make the difference for the CLS-Class. Unfortunately, due to regulations, this option will probably stay out of reach for the USA customers.

As for the interior, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class will have its cabin redesigned. There are no photos or reports regarding the scale of the interior redesign at the moment, but the rumors say that the new coupe will have a restyled center stack and dashboard among other things. The most important thing is that the new model will feature a new generation of the COMAND infotainment system, since the old one was giving a headache to almost everybody. In addition, the new model will have numerous other high-tech system which concern leisure and safety, such as a full internet connection, navigation system with real-time traffic data etc.

Engine Lineup And New Transmission

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class powertrain is still kept as a secret. However, there are some rumors about the possible engine options. To start with, the new model should keep its old 4.7-liter V-8 engine, as well as a possible base entry as a twin-turbo V-6 unit. The new model should offer both rear- and all-wheel drive, but the biggest change will address its transmission. The 2015 CLS should use a new 9G Tronic nine-speed transmission that will improve the performance and fuel efficiency of the car. The improvement hasn’t been announced in numbers, but we are sure it will make the difference, as the manufacturer is well known for its innovative spirit and high-end technology.
