2015 Jeep Patriot — The Final Model Year

By | 06/05/2014

The 2015 Jeep Patriot will be released by the end of this year. The new model will not bring any drastic changes, so the ones hoping for a full redesign will have to wait another year with their fingers crossed. The lack of redesign in the case comes as no surprise, at least when it comes to the appearance. The Patriot has had its boxy look for quite some time, but neither of the redesigns brought drastic or untraditional changes to the way it looks. The model is now more or less famous for its rough appearance and has made a trend out of it, so honestly, we don’t expect it to change in any significant way any time soon, or any time at all, for that matter. The new 2015 Jeep Patriot will also keep other qualities its predecessor had, such as spacious and very functional cabin with a long list of gadgets and systems included, powerful and reliable engine lineup and excellent performance in any road condition. The 2015 model will also inherit quite a long list of possible interior and exterior colors, which is in a way a paradox since this is a vehicle which is not about looks or attractiveness, but about performance, durability, agility and power. For all those interested in having a trendy, attractive and modern vehicle, this is not the choice for you. The 2015 Jeep Patriot seeks for a devoted, passionate and adventurous driver who doesn’t care about superficial and modern. The new model will also offer some systems updated and a possibility of adding new gadgets to the list.

Exterior, Interior And Trims Of 2015 Jeep Patriot

The 2015 Jeep Patriot will look the same as its predecessor, which again had the same appearance as the model before. Seems like the manufacturer decided not to change the exterior of the model in any drastic way, and we support such decision. The looks of the Patriot fit its personality perfectly.  The boxy shape and all those sharp edges suggest the rough nature of the vehicle, while the sort of old-time attitude tales about the tradition and celebrate all those years it has been present on the market. The model will come in a number of colors. The pearl ones offered are Winter Chill, Rugged Brown, True Blue and Deep Cherry Red Crystal, while the clear coats are: Bright White, Bright Silver, Billet Silver Metallic, Black, Mineral Gray, Granite Crystal and Maximum Steel.  As for the interior, the 2015 Jeep Patriot will have the spacious and comfortable cabin its customers are used to. The inside of the vehicle is very cozy, with a very adaptable space so that you can carry anything you wish. In addition, the designers paid a lot of attention to comfort, offering very pleasant interior and comfy seats. The 2015 Jeep Patriot will offer two interior colors: Dark Slate Grey and Light Pebble Beige. In addition, the new model might even offer an improved infotainment system with a touchscreen and some brand new systems, but this is not official information. Some of the standard equipment is audio system, mobile connectivity and others, while the strange detail is that neither of the trims offered comes with the climate control as a standard. As for the safety, the 2015 Jeep Patriot has a variety of systems, including, among others: electronic brakeforce distribution, stability and traction control, tire pressure monitoring etc.  The new model will offer three trim levels: Sport, Latitude and Limited.

2015 Jeep Patriot Engine Options, Drive And Transmission

The 2015 Jeep Patriot will come with two different engines, both used for the current model as well. The first one is a 2.0-liter inline-four engine that generates 158 horsepower and 141lb-ft of torque. The second option is more powerful, it is a 2.4-liter inline-four unit that produces 172 horsepower and 165lb-ft of torque. The standard mode is a front-wheel drive, while the 4×4 comes as an option. The Sport and Latitude trim use a five-speed manual gearbox paired with the FWD, while the 4×4 drive mode comes with a six-speed automatic transmission. The 2015 Jeep Patriot Limited uses only the six-speed automatic gearbox, no matter the choice between the 4×4 and a FWD.
