The 2015 Chevrolet Equinox is finally here. We can’t imagine anyone unsatisfied with this news. The much needed redesign is finally done and the new model looks even better than the previous one.  It’s not that there was anything wrong with the 2014 refreshment; it’s just that there haven’t been many generations of this car. It is present on the market for ten straight years, and only couple of varieties has been made. Therefore, this is a perfect birthday surprise. As this model matures, so does its designers. They overdid themselves this time. The 2015 model is fresh, improved, elegant and simply fantastic. The new 2015 Equinox will have a redesigned exterior, an improved interior, and some more engine options in its sleeve.  So if you weren’t much of its fan through the years, it is highly possible you’ll become one now.  This is a vehicle worth attention, a fully redesigned and modern model fit of modern drivers we all present today.

As for the redesign that concerns the looks, the first thing you will notice on this list is the new dimensions. The 2015 Chevrolet Equinox is a bit smaller than the previous version. But don’t worry, it is still spacious enough. Its trunk volume is 31.4 cubic feet, and it has enough place for all five passengers. If you still have some doubts about this, you should know that if you fold the rear seats, you’ll have a total of 63.7 cubic feet of cargo space. So put your worries aside, even though the previous model was the biggest in its class, the 2015 model also stays close to the top of the list. In addition, the new model got some elegant lines, chrome details and new bumpers. In addition, it is equipped with LED headlights and more body colors are offered. The car looks dynamic, outstanding and yet well-balanced.  As for the interior, we can’t complain. The center stack is redesigned, there is a 7-inch touchscreen and all the necessary gadgets are installed, including navigation system, hands-free, Pandora radio etc.


2015 Chevrolet Equinox Engines

The 2015 Chevrolet Equinox comes with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, which can generate 182 horsepower and 172lb-ft of torque. Furthermore, the powertrain options are refreshed by adding another engine to the list. It is the 3.6-liter V-6 engine that comes with up to 301hp and 272lb-ft of torque. Also, the shrinkage and the new Delta platform reduced the fuel consumption, which is a big plus to this model.


2015 Chevrolet Equinox Release Date And Price

The 2015 Chevrolet Equinox will be available on the market by April. The base model will probably cost around $24,500. We believe, since this redesign was truly a job well-done, it is worth every cent.
