The 2015 Audi A1 exterior hasn’t been radically changed, but we must say that its new appearance is quite a bit more appealing than the current one. 2015 Audi A1 Engine Lineup — Three-Cylinder Engines

The 2015 Audi A1 comes with a rather interesting engine lineup. There is a total of six units offered, with different characteristics to fulfill everyone’s requirements. To start with, the new model will come with four already seen units, three gasoline and diesel choices. The gasoline mills offer two direct-inject which generate 123 horsepower and 148 horsepower. Another gasoline option is a 1.8-liter engine which produces 190 horsepower – this unit is the most powerful engine offered. As for the diesel option, there is a 1.6-liter turbodiesel engine with 114 horsepower. As for the other two engines, these are the newly added ones. Both of the engines are three-cylinder mills, one gasoline and one TFSI diesel. They produce 89 horsepower and 94 horsepower, respectively. Although their power outputs are modest, they compensate that with impressive fuel economy. Add to that that this is a subcompact hatchback, not a performance vehicle, and you will see how good these engines actually are. The A1 is an urban model, built for busy city streets and fast life pace. As for the transmission, the new model will come with a six-speed manual gearbox as a standard, while the seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission will be offered as an option with every chosen engine. Also, some of the trims will have the option of choosing the Quattro all-wheel drive.

The 2015 Audi A1 will be released next year in Europe. Sadly, this awesome subcompact hatchback will not be sold in the USA, but its changes and novelties could help us predict the innovations and changes we might see in the future on model which made it across the pond.
